야! 친구!

잘 지내셨어요?
I'm sorry I've been a terrible blogger lately...so much has happened since our last post.

Erik and I celebrated our 3rd year of marriage in June! Woot woot! (We lso like to brag that we've been dating since '99, which was a whopping 11 years ago lol)

We went to Oklahoma for the 4th of July!

I caught a fish!

Do you remember my sister Kelsea? She had a birthday this summer.

What else?

I visited my grandparents in Denver, Colorado.

Been brushing up on my Japanese! haha

Erik's band has been playing all over town...

We lost some money in Vegas! haha

Went back to OK for a 1940's themed wedding...

Back to Seattle

And at Christmas, I got a beautiful surprise in the mail from someone very special in Seoul!!!!!!

Jamie, thank you sooo much!!

We miss you, and will let you know when we plan to get to Japan. We will meet there for sure! But you will have to be our guide...
All we know how to say is 今日は, お元気ですか?, and ありがとうございます! hahaha :)

Theatre weekend in Daehangno

At 'Hyehwa' Station in Seoul on Saturday afternoon.

People used to call this place 'Daehangno' indicating 'college street' because there are a number of universities (including med school) along the street and a number of restaurants or small amusements had naturally appeared. But the interesting thing is, despite of the origin of the name, this place is well-known for theaters where a number of actor and actress gather and opens a variety of artistic performances.

Tickets for the play . It was actually on air several years ago as Drama :) I was fortune to purchase tickets at work with affordable price! (oh btw, see my nail color which reminds the brad 'Tiffany & Co.' haha!)

Handmade accessories intrigued my friend to gently open her purse.kk

Korean pork 'samgyeopsal'!!! YEAH :)

paparazzi shot at work

"Don't Shoot me! I didn't wear any make-up on face today!"

One fine day in Seoul

May, Jamie(I use 'Jina' at work because there is a senior boss called 'Jamie' who have worked more than 10 years!), Yelly, Edward and Steall(out of picture) at the exhibition of photographs which received Pulitzer Prizes :)

Every month there is a day called 'Fun Day' for staffs who are allowed to go out and have fun. This month was to visit the exhibition displaying prestigious photographs rewarded by Pulitzer Prize. Every picture had an impressive message to change the world and I was almost overwhelmed to see how brave the photographers were even though they might be in the danger.

with my boss 'May' pretending to get birds' snack from the guy on the wall. haha

So what will be the next post in Seoul or Seattle? :)

Greetings

Hi! I'm Jamie and I live in Seattle, Washington USA.

I am currently working as a nanny/personal assistant. I spend my days at the Children's Museum, the park, and the zoo...I love my job.

Apart from my work I love to paint, play the piano and read. I am married to Erik, a local musician, and we will be celebrating 3 years of marriage this summer. He's the best! No kids yet, just a cat, but I am looking forward to the day (in the near future) when we will start our family!

Welcome to our blog!
